The Mortal Kombat 1 reboot is now official and a Kombat Pass with additional characters has also been confirmed. It has not yet been officially confirmed which one it is, but a dealer leak could now provide clarity in this regard.
After the official announcement of Mortal Kombat 1, we reported yesterday about the different editions in which the new fighting game is available. Everything that goes beyond the Standard Edition already includes the first Kombat Pass, which in turn includes six additional characters for the beat ’em up, which should become available after the actual release.
Which fighters are specifically involved has not yet been officially made public. For more clarity, a leak via Amazon Italy worry, because the retailer has rushed ahead and names specific contents of the Kombat Pass.
It will also feature guest characters such as Homelander from the hit Amazon series The Boys, Peacemaker from the DC Universe and Omni-Man from Invincible. In addition to these three characters, other Mortal Kombat veterans will also be added via DLC, namely Quan Chi, Ermac and Takeda.
Amazon Italy also listed the five additional cameo fighters to be released as part of the Kombat Pass. These are Tremor, Khameleon, Mavado, Johnny Cage and Ferra.
The Mortal Kombat 1 reboot will be released on September 19, 2023 for Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
