As anticipated yesterday, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today announced a new expansion for Mortal Kombat 11, the brutal fighting video game developed by NeatherRealm Studios. This new DLC is called 'Aftermath' and will launch next May 26 on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switchin addition to the Google Stadia version of the game. This new content will be priced at 39.99 euros.
In Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath The story mode of the fighting game will be expanded with a new arc that maintains the cinematic style of the original plot of the game. Here we will see a new story "focused on trust and deception", the company says in the published press release. Three new and unique characters
This new expansion of story mode will tell how Liu Kang, God of Fire, has to recruit new and unexpected allies after becoming the new guardian of time and protector of Earth. He will have to collaborate with friends and enemies to "forge a new story in which the fate of the worlds hangs by a thread." This is where the new characters: Fujin, the Wind God who serves as protector of the Earth along with his brother Raiden, Sheeva, the queen of four arms half human and half dragon of the ancient race of the shokan, and RoboCop, the iconic and highly advanced cyber police officer, who will appear for the first time in the franchise.
In the case of robotic police Peter Weller's voice and appearance have been featured, actor who brought the original character to life in the first two films of the franchise. Later Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath also add static content with three packs of skins for the characters.
