Game news Mortal Kombat 11: No more DLC, a secret project monopolizes the NetherRealm teams
Mortal Kombat 11 can thank its most recent cinematic counterpart which gave the hype a significant boost. Nevertheless, after two years of hard work, the teams announce the end of the DLC for the title. The studio is fully invested in its next project.
Mortal Kombat 11 will have a great bunch of additional content ahead of the recent NetherRealm Studios announcement that sounds like a fatality for the latest installment. Therefore, everyone agrees: The studio will no longer feed the game with new content.
It was through a tweet that the teams spread the word. But beyond that simple short stop at an eleventh opus, which reached the climax of its formula, it is the first words of NetherRealm that arouse curiosity.
NetherRealm is now focusing on its next project and after more than two years of support for Mortal Kombat 11, the DLC for the game including the characters has come to an end.

Sometimes one message can hide another. This is, in a way, the case with the speech from the NetherRealm teams who say they are fully invested in making their next project a reality. A phrase that will no doubt revive the lively debates and rumors surrounding a game that gives pride of place to the roaster of characters from the Marvel Universe.
Still, it is better to be careful than to run away. Especially since this project could very well hide a third part of the Injustice saga, the last of which dates from 2017.. Still, the studio has moved on and only the future will lift the veil of this mysterious game in development.
In the meantime, you can enjoy a full and definitive version of Mortal Kombat 11 available for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X | S, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and Stadia is available.
