If you play the early access of Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord, you have probably noticed that developer Taleworlds Entertainment has so far provided its new open-world role-playing game with daily updates.
Now that the most urgent problems have been fixed, Taleworlds wants to deviate from the small patches and instead present you major updates – the first of which you can already play as a beta.
This brings patch 1.1.0
With a download size of 2.3 GB, Patch 1.1.0 is the largest update to date, but this is also reflected in its content. To test the update, you have to right-click Mount & Blade 2 in your Steam library, open the settings and select Update e 1.1.0 – Beta from the drop-down menu in the Beta tab. Your game should then update itself automatically.
The patch brings many innovations accordingly: Experience points have been adjusted to allow players and companions to gain regular levels – especially at higher levels. Your troops can now be upgraded faster, although the additional experience from automatically calculated battles has been reduced.
However, your units not only get more XP, but also some new equipment and other skills. Especially the troops of the Battanians get a big optical workout. All units of the culture inspired by the Celts are now significantly larger and stockier than before:
