Warner Bros. Games and developer Player First Games announce multidimensionalThe free-to-play fighting game pitting superheroes and cartoon characters against each other has surpassed 20 million players since its open beta began on July 26.
The milestone comes after MultiVersus Season 1 kicked off on August 15th with the launch of the new Battle Pass.
This season will also bring a variety of new characters, such as Morty Smith (Rick and Morty) who will be joining today. Later this season, Black Adam (DC), Stripes (Gremlins) and Rick Sanchez (Rick and Morty) will join the roster.
You can expect more heroes and personalities in the coming months. As part of Season 1, new modes will also appear in the game, including Classic Arcade and Ranked Mode.
This team-based 2v2 game features a rollback network code for online matches featuring Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Shaggy and Velma, Bugs Bunny and the Tasmanian Devil, Arya History An all-star cast of iconic characters like Tucker, Tom and Jerry, Jack the Dog and Finn the Human, Steven Universe and Garnet, the Iron Giant, LeBron James and the original character Reindog.
During an open beta with no end date, MultiVersus will continue to be updated with new characters, maps, seasonal content, and more over the coming months.
