do you have a favorite multidimensional Is the character level 15 or above? If not, you’ll wish you had it sooner, because MultiVersus Patch 1.03it will take you twice as long to master a new character.
The new patch – which comes with buffs or nerfs for the 15 characters in the game – also introduces some changes to how game progression works. According to the patch notes, developer Player First Games states: “The XP required to go from level 3 to 15 on the Character Mastery track has been doubled.”
This may seem extreme, but apparently it’s because developers see people picking up on their characters too quickly. “We’ve found that players can reach the mastery track at level 15 too quickly,” PFG explained in a patch notes update. “this [change] is to help us make it more of a journey. ”
This change is sure to disappoint players. If you want to use a character properly – with all the best perks and unique upgrades – you need to level them up to around level 13. Full mastery (at level 15) will give you a profile badge and profile icon, but to actually game influence, in most cases you need to be level 13.
Given the speed at which you could level up your character before, this won’t affect the average player too much – but more casual MultiVersus fans will feel the pinch.
Elsewhere in the patch, we see Garnet, Gizmo, and Steven Universe benefit from a bunch of buffs, while Superman, Velma, Jake, Finn, and Shaggy all get nerfs.

game system
Anti-infinite combo system
- We’ve implemented a new anti-infinite combo system that will attenuate all subsequent attacks if the same attack is used 4 or more times in the same real combo. The goal is to set a global soft cap on infinite combos and make combos more creative. We hope this change pushes players to explore new and more exciting combo routes.
- We are considering a maximum number of 3 for the same attack, but we want to evaluate changes more slowly. We will evaluate changes and would love to provide feedback on how the system can be improved!
- A 4-way or 8-way selection option for the right stick control (c stick) has been added to the settings menu.
projectile system
- We will continue to update the projectile system in this patch. The most notable addition is the addition of a new “Light Projectiles” category for projectiles that do not cause knockback. The only light projectile currently in the game is Rick’s uncharged blaster
