After exterminating from the face of Forgotten Realms To every goblin that gets in my way, my course in Baldur’s Gate 3 is towards the Alzalunas Tower. Druid Halsin has joined the group to help me on a journey that is expected to be really dangerous, since I must traverse the Underdark to avoid a curse that plagues the surface.
Although before leaving, the rascal thinks that the best thing would be to have a good party with the Tieflings that I have saved; You know, open bar of wine, kegs of beer, good company and fun that only ends as soon as the first rays of sun appear over the horizon. The truth is that I do not refuse, especially because I am waiting for my relationship with Lae’zel came to fruition the way we both want.
The cogorza in the camp is the predominant note among all those who celebrate, because we are alive after having defeated a group of morons who only existed by and for the designs of the Absolute. The Tieflings, compadres of the race, thank me for the gesture I have shown them and I take comfort in knowing that my pockets are fuller due to their generosity. Obviously, these circumstances invite us to reflect with friends and that is what I do by taking a walk around my improvised home.
No one tells me anything especially new, beyond reiterating thoughts and passages from their past, but Shadowheart catches me completely off guard. Without eating or drinking it, he starts throwing things at me, which puts me in the realm of doubt. I have no commitment to Lae’zel, so I have the right to lie with whoever I want; On the other hand, this daughter of Satan has been fanaticized by the worst possible sect, but…Who can say no to Shadowheart?
Well, me, damn it, especially after seeing that everyone is as horny as the corner of a table. The worst of all is Gael, because he encourages me to lie down next to him, tempting me with a secret that he can only share with those who are closest to him. He reeks of jealousy everywhere, so I ignore him and head off with the Githyanki for a night of pleasure… or so I thought. First of all I have to say that I didn’t expect Baldur’s Gate 3 to be so explicit during sexual scenes.
It is true that it is by no means pornographic nor does it delve into lust, but Larian Studios has had no problem showing nudity and games between the couple. I like that bravery, although not so much waking up in the morning with pain in my bones, hands, back and even my tongue. It is seen that Lae’zel takes being a warrior to the most intimate level and I agree to allow her to take the initiative, although two things have upset me.
The first is the obvious pain that runs through my body after a session that should be happy and the second is that She wants him to be some kind of lapdog. that begs for one more night in your arms. “I might look for more later, if that’s my whim,” he answers when I invite him to continue cuddling, so maybe my whim is to jump into Shadowheart’s bed. It seems that that flame is still alive, because despite having promised him that he would visit her when everyone had gone to sleep and not having shown up, he has not reproached me for my decision at all.
However, the surprise comes that same morning when I walk around the Druid Grove. A guy named Raphael appears out of literally nowhere to recite a strange fable to me. I don’t know who he is, but as soon as he teleports me to a room full of food, decorated in every corner and calls it the House of Hope, I know I have to be cautious. It doesn’t take long for him to reveal his true appearance as a demon with horns and wings.
He actually looks a lot like me, if it weren’t for the fact that he claims he can free me from the damn tadpole. Still, I have enough knowledge about Beelzebub to know that a deal with the hosts of hell never brings anything good, especially when he doesn’t even tell me what I would have to give him in exchange. A demonic pact is not my priority when it comes to getting the bug out of my head, but who knows, I can’t close the doors either.
Talking to the rest of the group, most are reluctant for me to accept the offer, although I like Gale’s perspective. The magician believes that Raphael wants our souls (surprise!), but if he has come so close to us it is because he is also desperate. It is necessary to take advantage of the situation, if possible, so I leave the range open to any option. When will I see Raphael again? Maybe on my last breath, but it will be after I’ve tried everything.
