Season 7 was announced shortly after the last season ended in March, with a very brief visual previewing what was to come. In addition to the new season, there’s also a fourth movie in the works, although not much is known about it. The original cartoonist Kohei Horikoshi served as the general supervisor and original character designer of the film, which is roughly based on the current scene of the animation.
In addition to big-name anime like “My Hero Academia” and “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba,” there seems to be a lot to look forward to next spring. First, the sound! Euphonium is back for its third season, along with its incredibly cozy and laid-back camp. The first season of Monsters No. 8, based on the popular manga of the same name, will also be released in the spring; cheers for those on the Godzilla train, thanks to Godzilla Minus One.
While it doesn’t have a spring release date, there’s also Suicide Squad: Another World , an anime that, as the name suggests, takes the cast of Suicide Squad to another world. Surprisingly, it actually looks pretty good so far, despite feeling like it should have been released way back in 2015.
