What is My Hero Academia?

My Hero Academia is a Shonen Nekketsu imagined par Kohei Horikoshi. From a one-shot created in 2007, the mangaka draws the beginnings of his flagship work, which is catapulted to the front of the stage thanks to its pre-release in 2014’s Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump

What is the story of My Hero Academia?

In an alternate reality, 80% of the world’s population has superpowers called “alters”. My Hero Academia follows the adventures of the little ones Midoriya, a superhero-loving boy who aspires to become one himself. Unfortunately, the young man has no age. Depressed and resigned, he finally meets all power, his idol and the #1 superhero on earth. Touched by the little boy, All Might sees him as a worthy successor. He will then reveal his secrets to her and send her his alter, the One for All.. What is the release date of My Hero Academia – World Heroes’ Mission?

Already released in Japanese cinemas on August 5, 2021, My Hero Academia – World Heroes’ Mission will be available in our cinemas from January 26, 2022. The trailer and release date in France, Belgium and Luxembourg were shared by crispy roll, the platform that jointly owns the exploitation rights of the anime with the platform AnimeDigitalNetwork (DNA for short). After its theatrical release, the film should logically join one of its two platforms, if not both.

In France, My Hero Academia – World Heroes’ Mission will be released first in cinemas before ending up on streaming services. Following a series of previews on January 21, 2022

, you can discover the feature film from on the 26th of the following week in certain CGR / Pathé / Gaumont theaters, and comfortably enjoy this new movie. If you want to watch it at home in peace, you have to wait for a broadcast on the Crunchyroll and/or ADN simulcast platforms.

What is the plot of My Hero Academia – World Heroes’ Mission?

My Hero Academia – World Heroes’ Mission benefits from an original scenario written specifically for the occasion, like the previous films. Seeing the quirks as scourges polluting the planet, the organization Humarise decides to exterminate their owners. To do this, they develop bombs that cause Quirk owners to lose control of them until they die. To fight against this organization, superheroes from all over the world as well as the students of Yuei High School are mobilized. Then begins a race against the clock that will drive Deku to his final jumps.

Whether or not a manga-based film is canon within the work’s timeline is always a subtle question. In general, the films are either a pretext to adapt one or more large narrative arcs with the means of a cinematographic production, which therefore offer a better quality of animation, or an original story that allows the universe to develop but deviates from the timeline. My Hero Academia – World Heroes’ Mission is a special case.

It’s canon because it develops enemies that were mentioned in Season 5 and more specifically Episode 16. Despite this, this episode is not directly taken from the manga. In addition, this film tells an original story written especially for the occasion. No major event should therefore affect the course of history. The movie just fits into the anime’s timeline.

Who produced the film My Hero Academia – Mission of the Heroes of the World?

My Hero Academia – World Heroes’ Mission is produced by the studio bone, to whom we owe all animated productions stamped My Hero Academia. The studio has been adapting the series since 2016 and signed the first five seasons, but also the two previous animated films (My Hero Academia: Two Heroes and My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising). After World Heroes’ mission, the Bones studio should continue Season 6 of My Hero Academia, planned for autumn 2022. In addition, there will also be work in the studio the return of Mob Psycho 100 with a third season due out in the spring.

• There are several My Hero Academia spin-offs. The first to see the light of day is called My Hero Academia Smash!! Written and drawn by Hirofumi Neda. The second and most popular Vigilante – My Hero Academia Illegals, was drawn by Betten Court and written by Hideyuki Furuhashi.

• All Might is based in part on… Son Goku (Dragon Ball). Kohei Horikoshi is a huge Dragon Ball fan. He logically refined his line by training on models from the work of Akira Toriyama. The main lines of All Might are therefore inspired by those of the famous Saiyan, in addition to its cheerful and heroic character.
