Minecraft players will soon experience the ray tracing visual effects for themselves.
Nvidia and Microsoft revealed that my world The ray tracing RTX public beta will be available on Thursday 10 a.m. EDT, 1 p.m. EDT, 6 p.m. U.K..
In addition to ray tracing support for rays, shadows, and reflections (technically, path tracing), the beta also supports Nvidia's new DLSS 2.0, which should help performance. Windows 10 (Bedrock) version will provide all these features.
The beta also includes more impressive features, such as physics-based materials and volumetric light and fog, which make Minecraft look very different from the way you are used to. Microsoft showed off the features running on the Xbox Series X, but this is another step forward.
When the beta version is released on Thursday, you will also find six new worlds created by the modifier, which will help illustrate how this technology is changing. All six games are available for free through the in-game market.
First, you need to register through the Xbox Insider website or Insider Hub app. You also need RTX 2060 or higher, and the latest Geforce driver.
