original Pokemon Snapshot Coming to Nintendo Switch next Friday.
This is just the latest in a series of Nintendo 64 games released for Nintendo Switch Online+ expansion pack subscribers.
In Snap, you travel to Pokemon Island to meet Professor Oak. You’ll then go on a safari in a motor buggy and take the best photos of over 60 different Pokemon.
You start with just one camera, but as you progress, Professor Oak will provide you with equipment to take better pictures. You’ll pass seven levels, each represented by a different biome and a special class. Once you get the new accessory from Professor Oak, you’ll need to replay the level to locate hidden Pokemon, find alternate routes, and get better photo opportunities.
Pokemon Snap was released for the Nintendo 64 in 1999. The Pokemon spinoffs developed by HAL Labs were among the first console-based Pokemon games, many of which were presented in 3D for the first time.
It was re-released on the Wii Virtual Console in 2007 and arrived on the Wii U in 2016. The sequel, New Pokemon Snapshot, will be released in 2021.
Pokemon Snap is coming to Nintendo Switch Online + expansion pack members on June 24th.
