Naraka: Blades developer 24 Entertainment has teamed up with massive engineering YouTube channel Hacksmith Industries to create a realistic game based on one of Naraka: Blades’ best characters, Hadi Ismael. Prosthetics in life.

The shimmering gold prosthetic is based on a hand developed by biotech company Psyonic and subsequently donated to Naraka player and YouTuber JesseLHV, who was born without a left hand.

To create the arms, Jesse’s arms were 3D scanned, then custom parts were computer modeled and handcrafted by Hacksmith Industries and added to the core hand.

Specialized sockets and adapters are then 3D printed to provide the basis for beautiful exterior components.

The prosthetic limb is controlled by an app and sensors attached to the muscles of a person’s arm to detect movement, allowing people to move individual fingers and manipulate objects. Hands can grasp objects by detecting when users flex their muscles, and apps can be programmed to perform gestures – not all of which are appropriate for polite company. Jesse continues to use mouse and keyboard controls to play Naraka in their videos.
