Free headlines of the week Epic Games Store Yes NBA 2K21. It will be downloaded for free until May 27, and will be replaced by a mysterious game.
PC players can now also experience the game’s cross-play on the Epic and Steam platforms.
In addition to the news of the freebies, 2K also showed off their ninth patch on the console today. The patch will bring the summer theme to 2K Beach, as well as new WNBA uniforms and arena updates.
The latest update will also include player similarity adjustments for current NBA players, as well as overall improvements to the entire game mode.
You can also look forward to new events in 2K Beach as summer approaches.
Take-Two, the parent company of 2K Games, revealed in its latest appeal to investors this week that the game exceeded the company’s expectations and sold more than 10 million units. This number is an increase from 8 million in February.
In the fourth quarter, net bookings for the series and the fiscal year increased by 37% and recurrent consumer spending increased by 32% and 73%, respectively.
There are more than 2.3 million users playing the game every day, and the company believes this is an “important opportunity” to further increase franchise rights.
