2K is giving the starting signal for Season 6 in the basketball title NBA 2K23 this week – just in time for the Easter holidays. The focus is on NBA superstar Luka Doncic from the Dallas Mavericks.
Basketball fans who own the current NBA 2K23 can mark Good Friday, i.e. April 7, 2023, red in their calendars – because the holiday also marks the start of Season 6 in the sports game. In this you can expect new content and rewards in My Career, My Team and The W. In addition, there are also six new tracks from selected artists both in the soundtrack and in Club 2K.
The new season also focuses on NBA star Luka Doncic, with whom you can prepare for the upcoming playoffs. Meanwhile, WNBA star Sue Bird is focused on the beginning of the WNBA season. These two are the main characters in Season 6.
Specifically, according to official information, you can expect:
- In My carreer There are all-new clothing brands and rewards for players to unlock, including a level 30 Jetpack (Xbox One & PS4), a level 40 Glider (Xbox Series X | S & PS5), and a GOAT mascot ( Xbox One & PS4). Additionally, in Season 6, as a reward for level 39, players can unlock the Core Badge Pattern Pack 2 (Xbox Series X | S & PS5).
- In My Team the Hero Cards return with a “Ruby” Shaquille O’Neal as a level 1 reward, which can evolve into “Diamond” if the conditions are met; a “Ruby” Sue Bird Coach card as a level 2 reward and a “Dark Matter” Hakeem Olajuwon as a level 40 reward. To make it to level 40, three collections of souped-up heroes will be released during Season 6, ready the mine -Glorify TEAM battlegrounds with their presence. Season 6 will also see the return of the holographic, unicorn, and flaming basketball cards.
- Updates in The W contain weekly and seasonal rewards including a Sandy Brondello Coach card, various t-shirts, team boosts, more clothing packs and more.
- 2K Beats gets new songs from some of the current favorite artists at 2K, curated exclusively for 2K Beats. Featuring Premo Rice, Trippie Redd & Lil B, King Louie, Jovanie, Chap D & JohnG and Angel McCoughtry, among others.
