The creators of “Space Hulk: Deathwing” are back with a new shooter.
StreumOn, the independent team behind the classic “EYE: Divine Cyber Fantasy” and “Space Hulk: Deathwing” recently returned to a new shooting project. Necronomicon: Hire Gunman It is the studio’s violent mania shooting game, which will be released on June 1.
Necromunda: Mercenary Lancers are located in Necromunda, Warhammer 40,000. This is a dystopian honeycomb city, which is rarely explored in the game. The gameplay looks more like the “Death Wings” of tactics than StreumOn’s first project. When the character is repositioned on the stage, it can smoothly link wall lines, dashes and grappling hooks.
The battle seems deadly, and the pace is almost similar to that of the new Doom, even including what appears to be a terminator. But you can also access some bionic enhancements that can be upgraded during the game. These bionic enhancements borrow some elements from Dishonored. The gameplay revolves around signing a bounty contract, which will allow you to hunt down some of the most dangerous targets in the hive.
There is also a dog companion, which is technically a semi-semi-robot. Like your own abilities and weapons, you can also upgrade the abilities and weapons of animal friends. As you can see in the game above, it looks completely different from a typical “Warhammer 40,000” game, and you don’t have to wait too long to play it.
Necromunda: Hired Gun will land on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on June 1.
