This material allows living beings to travel throughout the universe. Arrakis emerges as the epicenter of a galactic conflict between Duke Leto Atreides and Baron Vladimir Harkonnen. For his part, Paul Atreides, the Duke’s young son, appears to be the focus of a prophecy transmitted by the natives of Arrakis…the Fremen. The Dune universe now extends beyond the confines of cinema. Planned for 2022, the strategy game Dune Spice Wars is being developed by Shiro Games Studios.
