Something went wrong: the official one Netflix-Twitteraccount @NXOnNetflix announces a new, animated “Sonic the Hedgehog” series, which will be released in 2022 will appear on the stream service. But a short time later, the tweet was taken offline again. See a screenshot of the logo shown here:
As can be seen above, the announcement contained neither a teaser nor a new design for Sonic, only its familiar silhouette in red stormed towards the Netflix logo. The now announced Sonic series on Netflix is already the 6th of the iconic video game character. According to current information, it is not related to the movie “Sonic The Hedgehog”, which was released in 2020.

And Why did the Netflix managers delete the tweet immediately? Like the US side We Got This Covered speculated, the news may have been published too early. An official (and permanent) announcement of the Netflix series should therefore follow in the coming days or weeks …
