Universal Pictures, the well-known production studio from Hollywood, will become upcoming films due to the corona crisis and its consequences for the film industry, such as closed cinemas Offer for streaming at the same time as the actual theatrical release. This was announced by the American umbrella group NBC Universal.
The first filmThe animated film Trolls World Tour, which will be available on demand via the so-called “day-and-date release”. The cinema and streaming will start on April 10, 2020 in the USA and on April 23 in Germany.
Films currently being screened how The Hunt, The Invisible Man and Emma will be available for online rental from March 20, well ahead of the usual 90 days after the screen premiere. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sky and Co. thus become a cinema hall.

How does the demonstration work?
According to NBC Universal, the films are offered internationally through the sister companies Comcast and Sky as well as a wide range of the most popular streaming services.
