However, this has not stopped here, since thanks to the series panel at the Jump Festa, we have been able to learn that the anime of One Piece you will receive a remake by Wit Studio, those in charge, among many others, of making the first seasons of Attack on Titan, Spy X Family or the first season of Vinland Saga.
The announcement has been a total surprise, since the production company in charge of financing this remake will be, of course, Netflix. The streaming service knows very well how well it has worked for it One Piece and now he will create his “own” improved version of the series.
Although it was not something extremely necessary, it will help newbies to enter the franchise. Not much else is known about the series, but they will most likely solve the main problem the series had at the time: rhythm. The animation was good for the time and they will surely maintain that spirit with the remake, but it is true that the series in its beginnings could become tedious.
And not just at the beginning: it is well known how poorly Toei Animation executed the anime in its beginnings.
