The Last Dance has plunged many basketball fans, and not only, into the great era of Michael Jordan's Bulls. And obviously, it made some of them want to extend this backward step in video games.
Indeed, 2K has just revealed that since the broadcast of the first two episodes of The Last Dance on April 19, the use of classic Chicago Bulls teams in which Michael Jordan is featured has increased by 131% among NBA 2K20 players.
And if the Bulls of 97-98, at the heart of the intrigue of this documentary series, are playable in the basketball simulation of the American publisher, five other Jordanian teams are also present in the game. As a reminder, these six teams are the following :
- 1985-86 (Jordan’s second pro season where he set a playoff record with 63 points against the Larry Bird Celtics)
- 1988-89 (Jordan dominates the NBA in terms of scoring)
- 1990-91 (Jordan wins his second regular season NBA MVP title as well as the NBA Finals MVP award)
- 1992-93 (Bulls' first triple and Jordan's third MVP award in the Finals)
- 1995-96 (Jordan dominates the NBA in scoring, wins the MVP title of the regular season and helps the Bulls reach the record for victories in a regular NBA season, with 72 wins for only 10 losses)
- 1997-98 (Bulls' second triplet and Jordan wins sixth and final MVP title in NBA Finals, a record)
NBA 2K20 is available on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC and Stadia
