In the last few hours, some streaming platforms, such as Netflix and Crunchyroll, have had to live through a simply devastating situation. Unfortunately, some of the series they have saved and scheduled to premiere soon have suffered a massive leakwhich has caused numerous episodes of them to appear on the internet.
For example, some of those affected have been the remake of Ranma ½, Terminator Zero and the second season of Arcane, which are among the most anticipated animated productions of the final stretch of this year. Naturally, this has been a hard blow for Netflix because the leak has not stopped spreading like wildfire everywhere, so the platform has not hesitated for a moment to react quickly.
In conversations with the portal The Wrapa Netflix spokesperson has stated that they are already “taking aggressive steps to remove them,” so is already taking action on the matter so that the leaks that have spread disappear completely or at least try to slow down the situation as much as possible before it gets too out of control.
For example, from Ranma ½ Four chapters have appeared, Terminator Zero The first season has been leaked in full and the new season of Arcane Five of its future episodes can be seen. For its part, Crunchyroll has suffered the same consequences with the entire third season of Re: Zero and with the movie Mononokebut for the moment this other platform has not commented on the setback that its catalogue has suffered.
For the series workers themselves it has not been pleasant either. everything that has happened recently. One of the Mappa animators has confessed that this “is incredibly disrespectful,” as well as accusing those responsible for spreading the leaks of “not doing any kind of service to the community.”
