Henry Cavill’s career as Geralt is coming to an end that wizard Season 3, Vol. 2, prepares you for his exit and teases you with what’s to come, Netflix A teaser trailer for the season ending has been released.

The third season was split into two volumes by Netflix, with the first five episodes airing on June 29. The second volume, consisting of three episodes, will air on July 27.

We don’t have enough time or episodes to personally prepare for the departure of Cavill’s Geralt. While we were one of the skeptics when Cavill landed the role, Cavill won us over in the first episode, and it’s hard for us to see anyone else take on the role (insert an angry Geralt, muttering the word “f*”)**here).

To that end, though, showrunners assured the public that the transition from Cavill to Liam Hemsworth in season four will be “perfect” and “story-accurate.” Obviously, Geralt will undergo some kind of transformation related to the book. We haven’t read all the novels yet, so please don’t spoil anything for us.

While we’re not sure how Cavill will leave, we just know we’ll miss him as Geralt. He’s doing great, so at least throw him a coin for that.

Netflix announced in October 2022 that Cavill would hand over Blade of the White Wolf to Hemsworth. Cavill said in a statement that he would be “eager to see Liam’s take on this most fascinating and nuanced man,” passing Geralt’s torch to him.

He does have some pretty big shoes to fill, hopefully no one hates the guy too much. While we wish him the best of luck with the role, we’ll definitely miss Cavill.

Anyway, take a sneak peek at Season 3 Volume 2 above – or, if you haven’t seen Volume 1, don’t.
