Umbrella Academy
Although its popularity has waned somewhat over the years, Umbrella Academy is definitely one of Netflix’s biggest series. Launched in 2019 exclusively on the SVOD platform, this adaptation of the comic book of the same name immediately made an impression on viewers thanks to its very well-chosen cast and its colorful characters. Five years later, the fourth and final season is finally preparing to air and fans are already looking forward to watching it to know the end of the Hargreeves family story. While the series had accustomed us to seasons of 10 episodes each, this time we will have to make do with 6, but we hope they will be of very good quality. The answer should come very soon, in any case, since the fourth and final season of Umbrella Academy will be broadcast in its entirety on Netflix starting August 8.
Emily in Paris
It can hardly be more clichéd than the depiction of the capital of France that is presented to us Emily in Paris. However, despite its completely grotesque and almost offensive side, we must admit that the series does have a charm, considering that it never wanted anything other than entertainment. Even better, most viewers who tried the experience ended up developing a certain half-supposed addiction to Emily’s setbacks and her love stories. But after three seasons of “Je t’aime moi non plus”, it’s finally time to see the conclusion of this whole American-French adventure. To be more precise: it’s finally time to see part of the conclusion. Because, like many other series of recent years, Netflix has decided to split the final season of Emily in Paris into two parts. So you won’t be able to watch the entire episodes in one go, unless you’re dying to wait for the second part. If you’d rather avoid encountering an unfortunate spoiler, you can watch all episodes of Part 1 of Season 4 of Emily in Paris on Netflix starting August 15.

KAOS
Netflix subscribers have been begging the SVOD giant for some time to create a series based on Greek mythology in a contemporary form. While Disney+ subscribers have been able to satisfy this urge thanks to PercyJacksonwe had to wait until August 2024 for Netflix to finally release its own version of these myths in the form of a new series: KAOS. In the latter case, it is therefore a question of discovering a world where the gods of Olympus and mortals walk hand in hand in a city that closely resembles a large western city like Los Angeles. But while the supreme beings seem to do what they want at the expense of mortals, the latter risk defying their authority. For the moment, Netflix has only released a first teaser (see below), but suffice it to say that everything already looks promising, especially when we see that it is none other than Jeff Goldblum who plays Zeus. To discover this new original creation, however, you will have to wait until the end of the month, since the first season of KAOS will be broadcast on Netflix from August 29.

Terminator Zero
Terminator fans have been on a long rollercoaster ride for some time now. Despite the absolutely iconic status of the license created by James Cameron, the latter has actually offered some good and some not so good over the years, whether by going back to the first films or by focusing on the most recent ones. Fortunately, Terminator keeps coming back from the dead and tirelessly tries to offer something new, even if that means venturing into new territories. From the end of August, it is probably the most original version of Terminator that Netflix will offer you thanks to the new animated series Terminator Zero
