The Asian influence of Netflix

Family on Fire: The Japanese Drama of the Summer?

From a manga called Burn down the housethis new Netflix series invites you to follow the adventures of Anzu Murata, a young girl whose home was burned down during her childhood, allegedly through the fault of her mother. Convinced that the latter was wrongly accused, Anzu gets a job as a governess at her childhood home, where she sets out to find clues to prove her mother’s innocence – even her stepmother’s guilt.
The eight episodes of Family in Flames are already available on Netflix and many viewers have testified that they won’t be able to watch them until the end of the season.
