News culture Netflix wants to destroy the competition in 2024: the release schedule is completely crazy!
2024, the year of Netflix? The platform has just released a long teaser summarizing its many projects that await us throughout the year. And beautiful things are on the horizon.
An ever-growing catalog
Netflix has been available internationally for almost ten years. The world leader in streaming offers us quality programming every year and should continue to do so in 2024, with a release calendar rich in promising new releases but also marked by the return of important hits. Faced with competitors like Disney+, Prime Video and even Apple TV+, Netflix must now redouble its efforts to remain as attractive as ever and attract an ever-increasing number of subscribers. And this year the platform will pull out all the stops. Netflix has just released a long teaser that summarizes all the major projects planned for 2024. And we find some very good stuff.

Netflix movies and series to remember in 2024
Without revealing a specific release date (other than those that have already been shared), Netflix has offered us the first images of several major projects scheduled to arrive in 2024. At the top we find, of course, two big innovations: the live-action series Avatar: The Last Airbender, scheduled for February 22nd, and The Three-Body Problem, the new series from the creators of Game of Thrones, based on the Chinese film of the same name Bestseller based.
As for the return of Netflix’s flagship series, we immediately remember the last seasons of Umbrella Academy and Sweet Tooth, the new season of The Bridgerton Chronicles, but also Cobra Kai. And above all, the event not to be missed in 2024: the sequel to Squid Game, which is still discreet but of which we were able to discover some images.
On the film side, Netflix also has to score points with pure entertainment, such as “Back in Action,” a family action and spy film starring Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx. We also find Atlas, a space science fiction film starring Jennifer Lopez. Eddie Murphy must return to action with Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F., a sequel/reboot of sorts to the saga. Part 2 of Rebel Moon is also planned for this year, as is the fantasy film The Lady and the Dragon starring Millie Bobby Brown. Finally, France is not left out with several original projects, such as the film Loups-Garous, based on the famous board game, or the Furies and Anthracite series. In 2024, Netflix subscribers are getting ready for a great time.
