In Sims 4 you will discover your wild side with the new addon
Like its predecessors, The Sims 4 is an absolute long-running hit and is continuously and persistently supplied with content by the associated developer studio. Now players get the gameplay pack that many have been waiting for.
The Sims 4: Werewolves brings back the popular furry lifestyle that was last seen in the 2006 series 2 pet DLC and 2012 in the Sims 3 Supernatural add-on. While back then fairies and zombies were on board, now your Sims’ wolf nature takes center stage.
There’s a lot at stake for Electronic Arts, as the series is at a crucial turning point since the disappointing last addon. In our podcast you can hear how the iconic life simulation manages to turn initial disappointments into the opposite and why Geraldine is to blame for the fact that Natascha now spends far too many hours in The Sims 4:

This is what you can expect in the gameplay pack
Werewolf fans know that bestial blood doesn’t necessarily have to be transmitted through a bite. Whether you’ll have to face another werewolf in the gameplay pack first, or simply perform an occult ritual to bid farewell to your human nature isn’t entirely clear. At least you should be able to defend yourself against the animal urges when they are inconvenient for you.
However, for those who welcome them, there will be plenty of new opportunities, most of which have to do with your Sims’ nightlife, as you’d expect. You can howl at the moon, join a pack and go on a nocturnal tour of the mysterious Moonwood Mill.
In the new area and in interaction with other werewolves, you will not only explore your animal nature, but also the secrets and legends behind the lycanthropic existence. Whether you then share your insights with a soul mate in the moonlight or prefer to act as a lone wolf is up to you.
When will the addon be released?
The addon will be released on 16. June 2022 for PC and Mac (on Steam and Origin), as well as Playstation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Of course, the main game and all previously released free updates are required to play. Gameplay packs are medium-sized addons in the Sims DLC world that cost around 20 dollars.
The Sims 4: Werewolves is the twelfth gameplay pack from a total of well over 50 content expansions. Our Sims expert and guide author Gloria tells you in her column that they are not just money-making, but actually always good for a surprise:
