Eleanor and Colette
The "Eleanor and Colette" produced by the German Belgian uses an amazing international lineup. Eleanor's main role is Helena Bonham Carter, as you may recognize from the Harry Potter series. Eleanor suffers from paranoid schizophrenia and works with lawyer Colette (Hilary Swank) to fight for the self-determination of schizophrenic patients.
The film is based on a true story that has permanently improved the situation of mental patients worldwide. In the fight for self-determination and against involuntary psychiatric treatment, the sensitive theme of this film involves a theme that has little space in daily life.
