As usual, the new month has new games for the Xbox Game Pass for PC in the luggage. Only two new additions have been confirmed for June 2021, but they are at least quite interesting: a roguelike RPG classic and a detective adventure that will end up in the subscription service when it is released.
It is very likely that a few more games will be added over the next few weeks – we will let you know as soon as something happens.
Darkest Dungeon

Check out Darkest Dungeon here
In Darkest Dungeon you will suffer. Suffer a lot. The good news: You will most likely enjoy it as long as you can basically do something with roguelikes.
You steer a ragged group of heroes through dark dungeons full of dangerous monsters. It is important that you not only take care of the right combat tactics, but also the mental well-being of your characters. They suffer from what they have experienced, which gives them special characteristics – for example, by becoming paranoid or panicking. Every now and then they also tend to steal from you.
Darkest Dungeon has now gathered a huge fan base, a sequel is scheduled to go into Early Access sometime in 2021. If you’ve missed the iconic roguelike-RPG mix so far, now is the time to catch up!

Darkest Dungeon – Launch-Trailer der PC-Version
Backbone
Genre: Adventure
Release: 8. June 2021
Im Game Pass ab: 8. June 2021
Raccoons are having a good run right now, just think of Guardians of the Galaxy or Biomutant. A raccoon also plays the main role in the new detective adventure Backbone. As Howard Lotor, a private investigator, you roam a dystopian version of Vancouver inhabited exclusively by talking animals.
By no means do you expect a colorful children’s adventure, but a dark crime story full of complex characters. The trailer already spreads a great post-noir mood and even reminds us in places of the great disco Elysium.
Whether Backbone can really sweep us away remains to be seen until the release. If you want to get an idea of the new game now, there’s one on Steam free demo.
