New games leak before their time. PS5 and PC excluded?

Excluded, Games, Leak, PS5, time

Big mistake by Konami? The publisher has reportedly already confirmed Silent Hill 2 Remake, a new game and another project for tonight. Both games would not be released on Microsoft platforms.

And it’s Japanese player Konami’s fault! When uploading his waiting video for today’s stream, the editor forgot to remove references to his content. But on the web she once had a good look at everything.

Two Silent Hill games on the schedule?

Several matches have been confirmed and will normally all be announced during a live stream from 11pm tonight. Two titles would be released in total, including Silent Hill 2 Remake by Bloober Team. Like Resident Evil 2 or Resident Evil 4, this release could simply be called Silent Hill 2.

The second announcement would be for a new Silent Hill: Ascension game. In all likelihood, it would be the Sakura project, whose concept art had been coined by Konami. It’s still pretty vague, but the software could benefit from a demo a la Silent Hills PT. An old rumor that has surfaced also mentions a system where this episode could interact with the player via SMS or something like that. Note that the two games are expected on PS5 and PC, but not on Xbox. This would join rumors of at least a temporary PlayStation 5 exclusivity.

Finally, Konami would reserve a surprise cinema: a teaser trailer of Return to Silent Hill. The next film by French director Christophe Gans.

Real leak or fake?

Do we have reason to doubt the leak? At a time when some will do absolutely anything to call themselves insiders, yes. That Youtube channel has more than a few subscribers and at first glance seems handcrafted.

On the other hand, the streaming description has been updated to remove mention of Silent Hill 2. References to the new game and movie trailer were in the video data. In addition, Nibel would have already gotten wind of an announcement that is not made public and is actually in the data of the video. And since he’s talking about a game, it seems it’s the next installment and not the remake.
