New Genshin Impact characters Yelan and Kuki have been revealed

Two new characters pass today Genshin Impact Official Twitter account.This time, players of the wildly popular role-playing game will see a new Hydro character for the first time Ye Lanand electricity Kugi Shinobu.

We don’t currently know when we’ll see these characters in the game, as upcoming characters are often shown through art on social media long before they’re actually added to the game, but it’s clear we’re not exactly just done The Flash character.

Let’s start with Yelan, the character we know the least about right now. Apparently working in Lightning’s Civil Affairs, which makes it all the more odd that we don’t see them appear in the main quest. Having said that, Ye Lan’s design is beautiful and looks a little different from the typical designs you usually see from The Flash characters. That beautiful coat she’s wearing is extra loud, I’m not going to lie.

Then we have Kuki! As part of the Arataki gang and second in command behind Arataki Itto himself, they join the plethora of electronic characters introduced in our journey through Lightning, though with the ninja aesthetic they definitely bring a look that has largely been non-existent to date.

Now, while we’re not sure when these two characters will land in the game, we can make an educated guess. Version 2.6 is out in a few days, and the pair will likely grace our screens with version 2.7, most likely landing sometime in July. This will be the first indication of what we can expect in that update, but since they’re still based on lightning, we can assume we won’t be leaving the islands for a while.
