Round strategy is not a young genre and as early as 1994 numerous generals were allowed to go into epic and large-scale battles in front of their home computers in Master of Magic. Anyone who still remembers those days gone by (and feels old) can rejoice.

One of two new announcements of the HOW 2022 event is called Field of Glory: Kingdoms and is a 4X strategy game in which you expand your empire in the Middle Ages. Of course, this also means that you have to fight all kinds of battles. They are clearly the focus of Field of Glory and are extremely tactical.
A few numbers for the game complacent? 375 factions, 325 unit types and 600 buildings. Sufficient scope should therefore very likely be provided.

The spiritual successor to Qvadriga sends you onto the racing track. Yes, you read that right! Because in ancient times there were not only wars, festivals and powerful magic potions among the Gauls, but also chariot races in the Roman Coliseum. And you play them in Ancient Arenas: Chariots.
Unfortunately, the trailer doesn’t show any gameplay yet. So we have to be patient for now until we get to see more of the game. What is already known is that we can expand our manor and trade to optimize our training for the next race. If necessary, we can also call on the gods for their support.

A heart for animals: But no matter how good we are, our horses are more important to win in the arena. Therefore we can breed, train and equip the companions. In the races themselves, we can issue real-time commands to trim at the end and not lie lifeless on the dusty floor of the competition venue.
