The new Galaxy S25 phones are expected to be presented on January 22nd and more and more leaks and rumors about the new flagships from South Korea are slowly appearing. Now a new leak reveals how much RAM the cell phones will have and how the new slim model will be equipped.
That's why this is important: In addition to Samsung, Apple is also said to be planning a potential “iPhone Air” that will be particularly thin. The as yet unconfirmed Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim would directly compete with it. Both phones could be interesting for those of you looking for a particularly thin or compact device.
Im Detail: Over Android Authority Leaker Abhiskek Yadav shared new information about the RAM of three Galaxy S25 phones:
- Samsung Galaxy S25
- Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus
- Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra
All three models should be equipped with 12 GB of RAM. The memory configurations available are 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB.
This means that the standard model will have four gigabytes more RAM in the smallest configuration compared to its predecessor. There are probably no RAM upgrades for the other two models.

According to him, the cell phone should be equipped with a fairly large battery between 4,700 and 5,000 mAh despite its thin design. There is also the very fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and a main camera with 200 megapixel resolution.
Debayan assumes that the slim model will only appear in the second quarter of 2025 alongside the A and FE series.
