We didn’t have to wait long before we were treated to a new trailer introducing more legendary characters that will be joining the roster of Dragon Ball Sparking Zero.
Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is less than a month away, and tensions are running high between Spike Chunsoft and Bandai Namco. Communications surrounding the highly anticipated title are ramping up significantly in order to fill in the final gaps in the massive roster of 164 playable characters at launch. After the previous trailer focused on the Buu arc, the new trailer is packed with notable characters from Akira Toriyama’s work.
Dragon Ball Sparking Zero features character-focused trailers
Since Summer Game Fest and more recently Gamescom, Bandai Namco has been working hard to build up the excitement surrounding Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. Trailers follow one another, gradually introducing all 164 playable characters when the game launches on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series on October 11. Recently, the hugely popular DBZ has been in the spotlight, especially with the Cell Arcs and most recently Buu.
Now that this truly legendary part of Akira Toriyama’s work has been explored, Sparking Zero logically moves on to the chronological sequel. This new trailer therefore focuses on GT, a somewhat controversial part of Goku’s adventures but which obviously does not lack notable characters. Thus, we can see the GT versions of Goku and Trunks, as well as Pan, Gohan’s daughter. However, what will stand out more are the presentations of Baby and Li Shenron, the great villains of GT, and especially the now iconic Super Saiyan 4 transformation for Goku and Vegeta. Here is the detailed list of characters announced in the trailer to complete the Dragon Ball Sparking Zero roster:
- Goku GT (normal Super Saiyan 1, 3 and 4)
- Pan
- Baby (Vegeta, Super 1, 2 and Giant Ape)
- Oops
- Vegeta Super Saiyan 4
- Gogeta Super Saiyan 4
