Hardly any map is as popular with Battlefield fans as Operation Metro, for one simple reason: the chaos at the bottlenecks in the subway tunnels, where dozens of players inevitably meet, ensures incomparably intense and chaotic combat.
Apparently Hell Let Loose wants to create his own version of it. The newly announced new map Remagen for the World War II shooter sets the historical battles around the city’s Rhine bridge as a scenario, as developed by Black Matter Steam displays. And they revolved around the Ludendorff Bridge – far and wide the only way across the river.
Since the levels in Hell Let Loose are modeled on the basis of satellite data, Remagen largely corresponds to the real model. Here you can see how inevitably battles between 100 players will be concentrated in one point. Because there is no swimming function in the game:
Historical starting point
It is clear from the map that it is at the flag point Ludendorff Bridge
fierce virtual battles will take place. Hell Let Loose is also structured in such a way that the battles sometimes last over an hour. Add artillery and tanks to the mix and you can imagine the long-lasting chaos that unfolded at the bottleneck.
The battle comes at a critical turning point in World War II, when Allied troops captured the strategically important bridge from the Europes in order to advance inland. Located in the real place today Peace Museum.
