Skyrim bandits are a funny bunch. Even if you’ve just slain a dragon with your bare hands in Daedra armor and sucked up its soul, a robber is usually not far away who thinks to himself: Yep, I’ll take that off
. Despite the meager prospect of loot, one cannot blame the bandits for their eagerness.
But even after countless re-releases, the talkative criminals of Skyrim still don’t have much to say. Repeating quotes like You picked a bad time to get lost
or You should never have come here
have burned themselves into the minds of numerous Skyrim adventurers.
A new mod is intended for the bandits of Skyrim over 500 new lines of dialogue and thus make the (blow) exchanges with the predatory little people a little more complex. And they sound surprisingly authentic in a YouTube video! However, be warned from this point: In order to fully enjoy the mod, you should be able to speak English.

What exactly does the mod deliver? The Bandit Lines Expansion Mod is available for free download for both Skyrim Special Edition and Skyrim Legendary Edition. The bandits get over 500 new dialogues, which should finally make them a little more believable and less boring.
If you have installed the mod, the new conversation lines will be particularly noticeable during battles: Bandits not only comment on your equipment, your level or your appearance – which makes the confrontations a bit more personal – but also certain events. For example, the robbers will no longer be indifferent if you flatten their friends or use magic spells and dragon calls.
But even away from the fights, you can now listen to the bandits’ more authentic dialogues. For example, they ponder their noble craft, how stupid everything is in Skyrim and whether it’s really worth attacking the dangerous-looking orc with two-handed swords. (Which they still end up doing, because extra dialogue doesn’t make the bandits any smarter).
You can find out what that sounds like in the following YouTube video. You may not even notice the difference, because no new conversations were recorded for the mod, but simply re-mixed already existing ones:

Where is the mod? User JaySpera’s project is available for free download on NexusMods. You should also find a version for each of the latest variants of Skyrim – such as the Special or Legendary Edition.
What do I have to consider? As already mentioned, the mod is unfortunately not available in Europe. You have the choice between English, French, Spanish or even Mandarin. You can get an overview of all the languages available to you on NexusMods.
