This refers to the animal horror film “In the Water of the Seine”, which is currently at the top of the German and international Netflix Top 10. The French horror film is set in the run-up to the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris and shows how the scientist Sophia learns about a dangerous monster shark in the Seine. She is warned by the environmental activist Mika, as Sophia, as a former marine biologist, already has experience with the animals.

Sophia is hesitant at first, as she has lost many of her research colleagues to shark attacks in the past when she was researching their climate-related mutations. But in order to save the city from a major catastrophe during the upcoming Olympics, Sophia and Mika join forces with police officer Adil.
