Xbox Game Pass is getting a major overhaul of its rewards system, which should delight many Xbox owners and fans of the brand. That's pretty good news.
Microsoft is starting 2025 in style with a complete overhaul of its loyalty program “Rewards with Xbox” Xbox Game Pass. Designed to reward players, this system now offers even more ways to earn points while playing on Xbox and PC. The aim of the new features is to make the experience easier, more rewarding and, above all, more accessible to a larger number of players.
Xbox rewards are finally coming to Xbox Game Pass PC
The big news? “Rewards with Xbox” is now available on Xbox Game Pass PC. Previously, this program was limited to Xbox consoles and the mobile application. Now players on Windows 10 and 11 can participate by accessing the directly Game Pass Quests via the Xbox app on PC.
This means you can earn points by playing your favorite games, be it on the console, via the cloud with xCloud or directly on your PC. A welcome expansion that makes the program accessible to an even larger community.
Redesigned quests to reward all players
Microsoft has also revised its Xbox system Game Pass Questswith redesigned challenges that are more engaging and accessible. Here is an overview of the main quests:
- Daily Quests : Earn 10 points simply by playing an Xbox Game Pass game for 15 minutes.
- Weekly Streaks : Play five or more days per week to earn bonus points. If you maintain regularity over several weeks, multipliers can increase your winnings (up to four times after four weeks).
- Monthly Challenges : Play 4 or 8 different games on the XGP to unlock even more points.
These quests encourage players to explore different games and reward their loyalty. Enough to motivate long-time fans and newcomers alike.
More points, but stricter rules
Microsoft has also adjusted the way points are awarded for certain activities. For example, weekly bonuses on console and PC now reward 150 points, while daily quests remain at 10 points. However, an important innovation is the introduction of a Age restriction.
From now on, only players aged 18 and over have access to the full program. Younger children are not completely excluded, but their options are limited to parent-approved activities such as qualifying purchases or Bing searches.
