At Cyberpunk 2077 are you just thinking about the neon lights of Night City? Then you should take a close look at what developer CD Project has just released: Finally we get a brief insight into the world outside the metropolis.
The Desert with an end time mood and monster carts is called "Badlands" and is the home of the Nomad faction. Is the open world much bigger than expected? What do we already know for sure and what else could the little teaser reveal?
With 1,000 HP through the Badlands
Developer CD Projekt Red revealed on Twitter new vehiclethat brings us from A to B in the wasteland – and what a thing!
"Reaver" – custom-built wraith gang vehicle based on Quadra Type-66 car. With its near 1000 horsepower, you will ride eternal, shiny and chrome.

As the developers explain, the car is called "Reaver". Under his hood, "almost 1,000 hp" are waiting for your daring gas foot. The reaver is based on the well-known Quadra Type-66 model.
The vehicle belongs to the Wraith faction. This gang consists of the worst human scum ever: they mercilessly use every weakness to loot and murder.
Most likely they will clash with protagonist V – hopefully we can take the cart from them in "aggressive negotiations".
Car tuning in Cyberpunk 2077
So far we don't know much about vehicle tuning in Cyberpunk 2077. In any case, you can install the following:
- A car radio
- A navigation system
- A control AI
The new clip shows that at least the Quadra 66 can be pimped up even further. "How deep is the adjustment?" Asked a fan on Twitter. CD Project replied: "How deep is your love?" We will probably find out more at the June Night City Wire event at the latest.
The German fan site Night City Life watched what the tuning could look like with the rest of your fleet in a YouTube video. You compare the basic model with the newly revealed reaver:
They conclude that we at least Change bumpers, front lights, bonnet, roof, windows, wheels and wheel arches can. In addition, we can probably change the paint job. But keep in mind that this information has not yet been officially confirmed. All the information we already have about Cyberpunk 2077 cars and motorbikes can be found here:

Cyberpunk 2077 – How the vehicles work
Wasteland & the Nomad faction
CD Projekt has tweeted about the new car in Cyberpunk 2077 (on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the film) with the hashtag #MadMaxFuryRoad Mistake. And it actually fits: Instead of the dense metropolis of Night City, we see the souped-up body in the wasteland outside the city – a previously extremely rare insight into the game world of Cybetpunk 2077!
The badlands are home to the Nomad faction. This can also belong to your character V, so you don't start your journey in Night City, but in the desert. Nomads roam the wilderness restlessly to find enough to survive.
The factions come from the Pen & Paper template Cyberpunk 2020. There are seven major "nations" each with its own culture. But all follow the same strict code of honor. Night City Life, which presents the nomads in all details, also provides a really good overview – you don't need any background knowledge, by the way.
Cyberpunk 2077 is scheduled to be released on September 17, 2020. Despite the Corona crisis, the development should be completed on time. A fan project could sweeten the waiting time until then – you shouldn't miss this hammer trailer for the fan film "Phoenix Project".
