Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has a whole set of new fighters on the way. Although we already know the first one that will arrive in June, there are several names that are still in the air, and most of those that are currently being developed are doing it very differently than usual: remotely. The coronavirus has also forced to quarantine in Japan, and that has made Sakurai and theirs have to work remotely to shape new characters from the famous Switch game.

The person who has reported this situation has been the brain after the saga, Masahiro Sakurai. The one from HAL explained on Twitter that he will also work remotely: «I will be supervising from home. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate needs to maintain very tight security, and it complicates things a lot when working remotely, but now is the time to do it ». Despite of fear of leaksWith a community that can sometimes border on the unhealthy when looking for new information, the team has had to adapt to teleworking.

It is not the only one that has done so, in fact, recently Sony confirmed that it would implement teleworking in its American and European divisions, and we understand that the Japanese will soon too. The video game industry has had to adapt on the go, like many other sectors, to the situation caused by this pandemic.
