News from Piaggio: The new Vespa GTS 310 will be available in 2025. Compared to the current GTS 300, there is more displacement and more horsepower. This is known.
- Vespa fans can look forward to the successor to the GTS 300.
- Technical data for the new GTS 310 model has appeared in Switzerland,
- The new Vespa offers significantly more displacement than its predecessor.
If you want to travel quickly and powerfully with a Vespa, leave the electric models behind and go for the original, such as the GTS. The Vespa GTS 300 is currently the spearhead with a 280 cc single-cylinder engine. The engine delivers 17.5 kW (23.8 hp).
The successor for the 2025 model year is now in the starting blocks. Like Motorcycle Online reporteda “Vespa GTS 310” was homologated as part of its registration in Switzerland. Interesting technical data leaked out.
According to the name, the new product should actually have a displacement of 310 cubic centimeters. The Italian Piaggio Group is cheating a bit with the current GTS 300; after all, under the metal hood there is a four-stroke single-cylinder with a displacement of only 280 cubic centimeters.
More power and speed
According to the information, the peak performance of the GTS 310 is 25 hp (GTS 300: 23.8 hp). And the new product can also outperform the well-known GTS 300 at top speed. However, it takes a little bit of getting going: With a top speed of 127 km/h, the GTS 310 is only 4 km/h faster than the GTS 300.
Motorrad Online assumes that visually everything will remain the same. This suggests that the chassis, weight and wheelbase are identical to its predecessor. It is not yet officially known when exactly the Vespa GTS 310 will celebrate its premiere and what the price will be. There will probably be more concrete information at the EICMA motorcycle trade fair taking place at the beginning of November. You can read more topics about (electric) mobility here.
