Amazon Games plans to release the new New World: Aeternum in October, but you’ll be able to get an idea of what it’s like beforehand thanks to an open beta.
Amazon Games has officially announced such an open beta test phase today. Anyone interested can take part and get a first-hand look at the RPG before the full version is due to launch in mid-October.
The open beta is scheduled to start on September 13th at 6:00 p.m. German time and will then last until September 16th at 6:00 p.m. The PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms are supported equally, with players from Europe, America and the APAC region being able to take part. Even cross-play between consoles and between PC and consoles will be possible during the open beta.
In the beta you can try out the beginning of the game and the first quest lines up to level 30. You can also unlock mounts, arenas and some expeditions. By participating in the beta you can secure rewards that you will then have access to after the launch of the full version on October 15th.
If you want to prepare for the upcoming beta, you can also download the client in advance via pre-load. This pre-load will be possible from September 11th at 6:00 p.m.
