The initial hype surrounding Amazon’s MMORPG New World has flattened out in the meantime, but the developers are of course still working hard on the game. With “Heart of Madness” the next major update is now available.
Developer Amazon Games has released the next major update to the online role-playing game New World for PC. This is called “Heart of Madness” and lets you learn more about Aeternum’s corruption.
A new expedition as part of the update is called “Heart of the Stormwind” and awaits you with a new challenge. There is also a new weapon to get hold of with the blunderbuss. There are also the usual balancing adjustments, bug fixes and more.
The endgame expedition mentioned ends the main story of New World. You track Isabella to Shattered Mountain, where an epic finale ensues. You navigate the corrupted dimension of reality in the capital city of Myrkgard, where you explore the mysteries of Isabella’s past and delve deeper into her corrupted mind.
The new weapon Blunderbuss is characterized by high mobility and damage from close to medium distances. There are two skill trees for the weapon: Chaos and Containment. These allow for two completely different playstyles. You must be level 60 and maxed out on the Blunderbuss skill level to also participate in the new legendary weapon quest series.
The major update Heart of Madness for the MMORPG New World can now be played. In the update, the current main story will be completed and players will face Isabella in the new Heart of Stormwind expedition. A new weapon, the blunderbuss, also makes its way into the game.
