Game news New World: An important feature of Amazon’s MMO that has been blocked by a mysterious problem!
Just before the New Year, Amazon Game Studios presented the upcoming changes to its MMO. Aware that they made mistakes at the start, the studio has been working on improving the title, its stability and the addition of new content since it was released.
For an hour and a half, the developers showed the players what to expect in New World. Were presented like this Mutators that allow the studio to renew the interest of expeditions by activating modifiers and accompanying everything with a random rotation. The studio also announced that more test servers are usedthat the coexistence of the PVE and the PVP is an important concern, or that of new weapons, quests and NPCs will arrive in the following months.
The transfer of people has been completely discontinued!
Unfortunately if you wanted to take advantage of the new year do a world transfer, that just doesn’t work anymore. In fact, Amazon Game Studios has it temporarily not available Functionality. The reason for this sudden functional blockage? The recent discovery of a bugwhose effects would be “amplified” by world transfer. It’s hard to find out more about it at the moment because Luxendra, Community Manager for New World, contented himself with a short message in the official forum:
Greetings adventurers. We have temporarily turned off world transfers while we investigate a recently discovered issue made worse by the transfer feature. This only affects players who have an existing server transfer token. We will provide an update as soon as we enable the feature again. Thank you for your understanding !
Currently, we do not know the effects of this mistakenor when it will be resolved. According to some players who commented on the announcement on Reddit, it is it could be that the error is related to a duplicate problem or problems in the enclosure system. Players will be kept informed, but will remain on hold for the time being. Remember that at the beginning of December, after a final test phase, Amazon initiated the merger of several servers, starting with Mardi and Britta.
The goal was to bring players from these servers together, and all remove a world that has become useless due to the drop in the number of players, considered normal and logical by Amazon. According to our colleagues at JeuxOnline, these mergers also aim to to revive the interest of conquest, abandoned by some guilds for lack of fighters.
