Owned by Microsoft since 2014, Minecraft is still an interplanetary event that finally brings good news for many players.
Released on PC in 2011 and installed on most consoles over the years, Minecraft still lacked a platform to add to its cubic hunting board. But that pitfall was officially fixed today.
Minecraft finally places its cubes on new terrain
To do this, Mojang Studios points out that you have to go to the game settings and then to the “Preview” category. In this early PS5 version of Minecraft, in addition to the basic experience, we find the Tricky Trials update. However, the studio warns that bugs are sure to be reported and expects players to report them.
But what exactly can we expect from this PS5 version of Minecraft? For now, the improvements are not very obvious. However, we can see a better display pitch (36 blocks instead of 28 on the PS4), as well as better anti-aliasing. We can bet that the final version will benefit from the same advantages as the one on the Xbox Series, such as a frame rate of up to 120 fps, ray tracing and even full support for the DualSense controller. In any case, this is just another way to wait for the famous film adaptation of the game, especially with Jason Momoa and Jack Black in the cast.
