From January 26 to February 1, Dead Cells can play with Switch Online for one week in certain regions for free.
If you are a subscriber of Switch Online and haven’t tried Dead cell, If you live in the UK or Europe, you can do this for free next week.
Dead Cells is a platform game inspired by Castlevania, with a permadeath function, where you will die, kill something and learn lessons to survive.
There are many weapons and gadgets available in the game, with a high rate of return and high risk. Many times, before the solution becomes clear, you will find yourself in a cycle of death.
Alex Donaldson of iGamesNews said: “If you are a punished mouth, then you need to check for dead cells yesterday.”
The game has also received a new batch of DLC, which you can preview in the trailer above.
The game is called “Deadly Waterfall”, and it will land on Steam on January 26, the same day that the basic game demo is provided through the online game Switch.
The DLC has two new mid-game biomes, which are alternative paths to Stilt Village / Clock Tower and Sleeping Sanctuary / Forgotten Sepulcher.
One is the broken shrine, which sees floating islands connected by ledges full of traps. Expect to contend with snake men and “giant statues of larger axes”.
There is also an uninterrupted coast, which will rain heavily when you try to climb the cliff. You can use the cave to escape the bad weather, but hope that the enemy will wait inside.
A mausoleum owner will appear in the mausoleum, and the gardener “worships flowers and mushrooms.”
The developer has not announced whether the DLC will be released on the console on the same day as Steam.
