Another acquisition for the Go Rocket team is coming Pokemon Gostarting tomorrow, April 3rd and running until April 7th.
In the meantime, Team Go Rocket villains are planning a company-wide Team Go Rocket retreat, when the owner himself, Giovanni, will return.
The legendary Pokemon Giovanni will use Shadow Latias this time, and you can free this Pokemon from his grasp.
There’s a special research story at the start of this event, through which you’ll need to get the Super Rocket Radar to hunt down Giovanni.
The Go Rocket Grunts team and its leaders, Sierra, Cliff, and Arlo, also used a different Shadow Pokemon this time around. They will also use shadow versions of Alolan Rattata, Alolan Sandshrew, Alolan Exeggu tor, Sudowoodo, Girafarig and Numel. If you’re lucky, you may also encounter Shiny Shadow Pokemon that are different than usual.
And don’t forget: Once caught, you can use Charged TM to help Shadow Pokemon forget Charged Attack Frustration.
It’s not that hard to find villains, as Rockets will appear in PokeStops and Balloons more frequently.
During this time, Field Research quest encounters will include Sneasel, and if you’re lucky, you might encounter Scraggy and possibly Shiny.
1275 PokeCoins will also offer a special one-time purchase event pack containing 10 Max Potions, 10 Max Revives, and five Rocket Radars.
Finally, the event will see Salandit and Salazzle make their Pokemon Go debuts. A Salandit hatches from a 12km egg, and you can use 50 Salandit Candies to evolve a female Salandit into a Salazzle.
