Wireless charging to charge wearable devices
Whether it is a paid or paired device, NFC technology now plays an important role here. Short-range technology will soon be used for wireless charging.
In recent years, NFC has been used for many things. We use small chips to make contactless payments through mobile phones, or to establish a fast connection between two devices. However, the general possibilities will soon be extended to include another function: wireless charging or wireless charging.
As can be seen from the entries in the NFC Forum, special chips should be able to charge wirelessly for smaller devices. The power should be around 1 watt, which is obviously not enough for smartphones. Fitness trackers, smart watches or wireless headphones can still be charged with this power supply without any problems.
NFC chip is compact, suitable for any place
Technology can revolutionize how wireless devices are charged. Now, many people will be surprised by the term "revolution" because the owners of Huawei Mate 20 Pro or OnePlus 8 Pro can already wirelessly charge the corresponding devices through their smartphones. The so-called Qi coils in the device make this possible.
Charging through the NFC chip will eliminate the need for other coils in the device, thus providing more space for manufacturers. Of course, this form of NFC chip cannot replace the wireless charging of ordinary smartphone batteries. Therefore, the coil will continue to be used in large equipment. However, space savings may benefit from such wireless headphones and other small devices.
Still need to develop special NFC chip
However, this technology is not yet available because special chips still need to be developed. However, the official NFC forum already contains the corresponding specifications, this fact can certainly find a corresponding solution in time.
