The successful sequel Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom could appear for another platform in the near future. We’ll tell you where the rumor comes from!
So far, the sequel Ni no Kuni II: Fate of the Kingdom is available for the PC and for Sony’s PlayStation 4, but another platform may soon be added. Owners of a Switch from Nintendo can have corresponding hopes.
The background to this speculation is a new age rating by the American Entertainment Software Rating Board, or ESRB for short. This has taken the so-called Prince Edition of the game for the Switch under the microscope, so it can be assumed that this will actually appear for the Nintendo console in the foreseeable future.
It is reasonable to assume that the new Prince Edition will then not only include the main game itself, but also all previously published DLC content. That would be “The Lair of the Lost Lord” and “The Tale of Timeless Tome” on top! An official announcement from Bandai Namco is still pending.
Ni no Kuni II was released for PC and PS4 in 2018. In the adventure RPG you take on the role of a man who helps a half-human child to conquer a devilish force. Studio Level-5 is responsible for developing the title.
