Square Enix will be showing more of upcoming NieR Replicant 1.22 during the The Game Awards 2020.

NieR Replicant Will Be Showcased During TGA 2020

Another game to be confirmed to be spotlighted during The Game Awards 2020 is NieR Replicant ver 1.22474487139. Geoff Keighley the host of the show, shared in a tweet that NieR Replicant would be shown during the pre-show which starts 30 minutes before the official show. You can catch the world premiere at 6:30 PM ET / 3:30 PM PT.

NieR Replicant 1.22474487139 is remaster or “version up” according to Square Enix producer Yusuke Saito. The new version is set to include fully voiced lines, new content, new music compositions by the original composer Keiichi Okabe and the possibility of a new ending. Replicant was announced this year that it will be coming to PS4, Xbox One and Steam on April 24th 2021 worldwide.

Previously there was some gameplay shown previewing the combat in the open-world, including some of the weapons players can get their hands on and showed what parrying will look like. The remaster is being developed by Toylogic alongside Square Enix as well as NieR series developer Platinum Games.

The Game Awards 2020 will be live on December 10th at 4:00 PM PT / 7:00 PM ET / midnight GMT. A pre-show will take place 30 minutes earlier hosted by Sydnee Goodman. Be sure to join us on our Fextralife Twitch channel as we’ll be watching and reacting live during the show.
