Boring, another postponement. This time, Nightingale, the new game from ex-Bioware boss Aaryn Flynn, got it, and for a very mundane reason.
Hey, would you like a postponement again? It was so rare this year… Inflexion Games, the new studio from former Bioware boss Aaryn Flynn, was supposed to go into Early Access at least this year, but as is so often the case, nothing will come of it. The Victorian fantasy adventure is now scheduled to take the important step into Early Access in the first half of next year.
According to a Twitter statement by the developers, two things are decisive for the postponement. The first is an upgrade to Unreal Engine 5. After the developers reviewed the potential of UE5, the decision was made to upgrade now rather than wait until after release.
The second point is the usual phrase about the best possible experience. The additional time should allow the team to make key improvements, expand content, and refine gameplay.
More information about the game should follow in the next few weeks, and the studio wants to comment on more specific schedules at a later date.
